All-terrains on the stock Odyssey wheels?

Garden Route chapter. Considering a set of KO2s for the December Baviaanskloof run, wondering what the tar penalty is on the daily commute. Anyone done a long tar leg on ATs and regretted it?

What solved it

KO2s in stock size on the Odyssey for eight months including two Cederberg trips. Short answer: transformed on gravel, a touch more roar on tar from 110. No clearance issues in stock size — resist the urge to go up a size on a DCT drivetrain.

Seconding. If most of your driving is Highveld tar commuting, a good HT and rented rubber for the December run is honestly the cheaper answer.

Check your insurance wording before fitting — mine lists tyre spec as a "material modification". The Ownership thread has the carriers that don't.
