1. Who runs this site
JT Club is an independent, member-run owners community for Jetour T1 and T2 vehicles in South Africa. It is not owned or operated by Jetour, its South African distributor, or any dealership, and nothing here is an official manufacturer communication.
2. Using the site
Reading the site is open to anyone. Joining the register is free and open to owners, future owners and enthusiasts alike. Don't use the site to harass members, scrape the register, misrepresent who you are, or advertise uninvited — the supplier directory is the place for that.
3. Vehicle information is guidance, not instruction
Specifications, prices and figures on this site are drawn from official Jetour South Africa sources and are marked where a figure is a manufacturer claim. They change without notice, and they are not a substitute for your owner's manual, your warranty terms, or a qualified technician. Modifications and off-road driving carry real risk to your vehicle, your warranty and yourself. Decisions you make about your own vehicle remain yours.
4. Events are attended at your own risk
Chapter runs are organised by volunteers, graded honestly, and briefed before departure. Turning up prepared as briefed is part of the deal. The club, its chapter leads and its founders are not liable for loss, damage or injury arising from a member's own equipment failure, driving, or preparation. Every participant takes part at their own risk.
5. What members post
Members keep ownership of what they write on the forum, and grant the club permission to display and archive it here. Posts that are dishonest, abusive, or advertising can be removed by a chapter lead. Advice from another member is exactly that — a member's opinion, not a professional recommendation the club endorses.
6. Suppliers
A listing in the directory is not a warranty of a supplier's work. Listings are evaluated by chapter leads and cannot be bought, but the contract for any work you commission is between you and that supplier. Tell a chapter lead if a listed supplier lets you down; that is what the directory is for.
7. Availability
This is a volunteer-run site. It may be offline, incomplete, or mid-rebuild at any time, and parts of it are openly marked as still to come. No uptime is promised.
8. Changes
These terms will be revised as the club grows. Material changes are posted on the forum before they take effect, dated, with the previous version kept available — the same commitment the constitution makes.
